This search tool helps you find risk classes and subclasses, as defined in the Washington Administrative Code WAC 296-17A. You can also find the reporting rules in WAC 296-17.

Use the search tool for:

• Planning:  Find risk classifications and rates to estimate costs for a new business or new business activity
• Updating:  Organizations change!  It’s your responsibility to let L&I know if your business activities no longer fit the risk classification(s) that you’ve historically reported under. The workers’ compensation system depends on accurate reporting by everyone.
• Note: All final risk classification decisions are made by L&I.
