Project Summary
Leverage technology to make multiple Return to Work (RTW) construction trade related job tasks available in an online accessible database; which then any Washington State construction employer and/or representative can access to develop transitional (light duty) using the Employer Job Description Form developed by the Department of Labor and Industries (and attached later in this application) ready to send to providers for their review. Additionally, a sample transitional (light duty) Employee Return to Work Job Offer Letter also will be online and an output of the database so the employer can populate and complete for use with the worker with the duties spelled out in accord with the medical providers instructions. The decision was made to add translations of the Employee Job Offer Letter and the transitional construction related job tasks in Spanish and Russian, as the employer is required to communicate with a worker in a language they can understand, and this will assist in the process.
