The focus of this proposal is to integrate science and innovation in workplace safety in a high risk industry. Ergonomic observation and subjective interview will determine the tasks that are most hazardous. Identify potential solutions for improved technique. Assessments will be completed to objectively identify risk and then confirm/drive best practice techniques that will be published and trained on.
