Project Summary
Create a Transitional Return To Work (TRTW) Toolkit for Correctional Officers at all twelve Washington State Department of Corrections institutions. The Toolkit will contain resources for more efficiently managing worker compensation claims, including physical Job Analyses for three Correctional Officer (CO) classifications, Modified Duty Job Descriptions for each institution, and a Reference Guide describing a best practice process for Department of Corrections to implement in order to successfully transition injured COs back to work more quickly.
